Why a Bulkhead Comes First

A partition is the first safety upgrade a work van needs. In a hard stop or a collision, unsecured tools and stock become projectiles, and a bulkhead keeps that load behind you. Before you think about shelving or racks, put a barrier between the people up front and the load in back.

Solid Steel Partition

A full solid steel bulkhead gives the most separation, the best sound control, and the most winter heat retention. It blocks the cargo area off completely, which suits trades that carry dust, fumes, or loud loads. It is the heaviest-duty choice and the standard for maximum protection.

Mesh Partition

A mesh partition stops a load from entering the cab while keeping airflow and some rear visibility, and it weighs less than solid steel. For crews who want protection without fully closing off the van, mesh is the practical middle ground.

Windowed Partition

A windowed bulkhead keeps rear visibility through a glass or polycarbonate panel while still stopping the load. For drivers who rely on the rear view or want light through the cab, a window in the partition keeps the sightline without giving up the safety barrier.

Partial or Half Partition

A partial partition protects the cab on builds where a shelving unit already fills part of the bulkhead line. It pairs with side shelving to close the gap behind the seats without a full panel. For shelving-heavy Transit builds, a half partition is often the right fit.

Center Pass-Through Door

A pass-through lets you reach between the cab and the cargo area without stepping outside, which crews use constantly in bad weather. Add a door or gate to the pass-through so you keep the heat and security benefit while still having access on demand.
