Ground freight delivery times for Ontario destinations are typically two to four business days from order confirmation. The partition arrives fitment-ready: panel set, all mounting hardware, factory-spec bolts and washers, weather seal, and a printed install guide written for someone doing the work themselves. A competent DIY installer working alone finishes a standard partition install in two to three hours with basic hand tools. No fabrication, no welding, no drilling into structural members. The bolt pattern aligns with your van’s factory anchor points.
Option Two: In-House Install at Our Waterloo Facility
Bring the van to our Waterloo, Ontario facility and our install team does the work. In-house install makes sense for procurement teams who want vehicles delivered ready to put in service, fleet rollouts of multiple vans, and any customer who would rather hand the keys over than spend the afternoon installing. Install slots are scheduled in advance. Typical turnaround is same-day for a single van: drop off in the morning, pick up in the afternoon. Fleet rollouts run on coordinated schedules based on vehicle delivery dates. The facility is at our Waterloo address (contact us for directions). Cost for in-house install is quoted at order time based on partition complexity, vehicle type, and whether other upfit components (shelving, drawers, racks) are being installed at the same time.
Which Option Makes Sense for You
Owner-operators and single-van buyers usually choose dropship. The math is simple: two to three hours of your own time on a Saturday morning versus a trip to Waterloo plus install fees. If you have basic hand tools and follow the install guide, the result is identical to what our team would do. Fleet operators with two to ten vans tend to mix: dropship for vans located outside the Greater Toronto and Kitchener-Waterloo corridor, in-house install for vans that can reasonably be brought to our facility. Procurement teams running larger rollouts (ten or more vans) usually choose in-house install for consistency and procurement simplicity: vehicles arrive at our facility, leave fully upfitted and certified, and go directly into service. We coordinate with leasing companies and OEM dealers to handle this end-to-end.
Geographic Reach Across Ontario and Beyond
Dropship delivery covers every postal code in Ontario, with two to four business day transit from Waterloo. Toronto and the GTA receive partitions in one to two business days. Eastern Ontario (Ottawa, Kingston, Belleville) takes two to three days. Northern Ontario (Sudbury, Thunder Bay, Sault Ste. Marie) takes three to five. Southwestern Ontario (Windsor, Sarnia, Chatham) is two to three days. In-house install is geographically anchored at our Waterloo facility, which works for any customer willing to bring the van to us. For fleet rollouts, we sometimes coordinate with regional service partners across Canada to handle install closer to the customer. For non-Ontario customers, dropship is the default and only the partition itself crosses provincial lines. National coverage means ships go to every major Canadian city.

NSM Certification, Regardless of Install Path
Whether you install yourself or have our team handle it, the partition carries the National Safety Mark from the moment it ships. NSM certification is on the partition as built, not on the install. Transport Canada’s federal certification confirms that the partition meets federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for vehicle modifications, and that certification travels with the product. Fleet auditors, provincial inspectors, and insurance carriers verify NSM as documented proof your modification is compliant. Most partitions imported from US manufacturers do not carry NSM, which creates problems for Ontario fleet operators and individual buyers.
