Separators slot into pre-drilled positions on the shelving frame and secure with hand-tightened fasteners or quick-release pins depending on the system. A shelf bay can be configured with separators in under an hour using a basic screwdriver. If you prefer, any commercial installer can handle the work, or you can ship the vehicle to Waterloo for in-house install of both shelving and separators.

Separators ordered from MKW are part of a complete shelving system that carries the National Safety Mark. For commercial fleet operators, this matters. An NSM certified shelving build means the whole assembly, including partitions, shelving, drawers, and separators, is compliant with Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. Ordering separators from a third-party supplier and bolting them into a Canadian shelving system can compromise that certification. Our separators are designed to work with our shelving and maintain the certification across the full build. That is the difference between an NSM certified fleet and one that looks certified until an audit asks questions.
